and we couldn’t have picked a nicer day for it 🙂 How scrummy is the light? It makes me want to squeal and squeeze someone {or something ~ I’m not fussy}. Big congrats to T&J on their engagement. We had such an amazing evening, at an amazing location, and just as the sun went down behind the trees ~ it created a picture perfect glow, that I’m so grateful I was able to capture. Thank you guys :).

Sweet Canberra sunshine, I {heart} you………..
Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.

Another very special post for a very special family 🙂 The ‘F’ family are oh soooo gorgeous! Little Mister N is the cheekiest boy I know {yep cheekier than mine}and now has a fabulous new baby brother to play with. Congratulations F family on baby L. He is totally scrummy 🙂
A huge thank you to Charlotte for thinking ahead, and bringing the most perfect books for little Mister N to read! I do adore this book 🙂
And finally, welcome Baby L ……….. isn’t he yummy?
Firstly, before I even begin to start blogging this gorgeous Little Cove family session, I have to apologise to those who are waiting to see their sneak peeks! I am sooooo behind on blogging! I will get there……..slowly! We have beautiful bumps, gorgeous new babies, terror toddlers and a very special get together all to blog! It may seem a little odd to blog this session first {as I only did it yesterday} but I simply have too, as it was such a special session, for a very special family.
I last photographed beauty-full Miss M, when she was a 5th grader. It was so long ago that selective colouring was in {oh the shame, and yes, I did happen to black and white the image and leave her hair ribbons red}! She was beauty-full then, and is stunning now. Her mum has had a pretty tough time recently, and is the one of the most amazing women I know. She wanted images of her and her kids all together, as she has never had any done. Whilst the images of them all together are under wraps, here are a few from Miss M’s session 🙂
a massive thank you {and Happy Birthday} to my gorgeous friend Katrina, who supplied the gorgeous lanterns, ribbons and peonies x
In what has been a whirlwind of a week {all good}, it was just totally fabulous to see Funky Photography andFunky Photoshop Actions featured in Digital Photographer magazine! I’m so excited! It was such a great honor to be asked, and I’m so grateful. The email from the editor, came through a few weeks ago, completely out of the blue. I think I read it twice before replying 😉 They’re such an amazing team too……. thank you so much Matt and co, you’re awesome 🙂
I’m going to be featured in a few issues of the magazine, so watch this space 🙂 The first issue is number 106, and there’s some funky cool actions of mine featured on the disk too 🙂 It’s out now in the UK, and will be available here, in Australia in a couple of months time 🙂
On a completely unrelated note, I’d love everyone to pop over to the Matilda Jane website, where the fabulous and oh-so talented Barb Uil of Jinky Art is auctioning a 1 on 1 mentoring session with her jolly good self via Skype to raise money for the beautiful Valerie Koop, from In The Moment Photography, who sadly lost her husband recently 🙁 Our hearts ache for you Valerie. Thinking of you every day. Click HERE for more information and to place a bid.
And a post without a picture is……….well, bare, so here is a personal image I took from down at our favourite spot on the beach at Little Cove, Noosa. Mark and I often sit here in the evenings people watching, and reflecting on our day. The other day we sat, ate cheese, drank wine, and talked about how grateful we are for…….. well everything really. Living in such a beauty-full part of the world, having three gorgeous {tall} boys, having each other and being surrounded by the most amazing people. xx Annie xx
