After a few weeks of ‘nothingness’ {well it felt like that}, things are starting to move with our house build. Hurrah! Just in time too as I was getting a little bored of photographing dirt, timber and the porta~loo. Monday we discovered heaps of activity when the pipework went in. Tuesday, the waffle rafts appeared then this evening we drove out to check the block, and found we had concrete, yes real concrete. Unfortunately, we did want to sign our names in it, but the 30 degree heat made sure that it was rock solid by the time we arrived.
So here’s how its looking. I guess now we should officially celebrate with a wee bit of alcohol and some clinking glasses?
How wonderful to finally catch up with the gorgeous K family, who booked me over a year ago! It was a very windy evening on the beach {hence the windswept look} but we certainly had fun and made the most of the gorgeous evening sunlight. Thank you so much K family, for being incredibly patient, organized and fun loving. It was a pleasure to photograph you xxxxx
How wonderful to wake up to an awesome email from the NAPCP {National Association of Professional Child Photographers} with news I’d come second place in the international image competition, with gorgeous Miss Taylor’s portrait entitled ‘Still’. You can see the full resolution image here. Thank you so much to the NAPCP and judges who included the very wonderful Deb Schwedhelm. Details of the NAPCP and image competition can be found here and also here. The entries are absolutely outstanding, so I am honoured to have even placed {blush}.
Thank you xx Annie xx
