Newborn Baby Photographers ~ Sunshine Coast………Welcoming Baby B

Ah gosh we waited and waited for this little chap to arrive. He took his time coming, but it was so worth the wait. Congratulations to Miss C and Mister T on the birth of their wonderful son. He truly is a beautiful baby boy, with the longest eye lashes I have ever seen. To match Miss C’s natural and earthy maternity sessions {you can see them HERE}, we chose nice earthy colours. A massive thank you to Ashleigh from our Clickin Chicks group for coming along to help, and providing us with some fab nibbles{a nice Devonshire tea}, and also some lovely blankets 🙂

So, welcome Baby B……. xxxx

Kelly and I will be in Toowoomba this weekend with Kelly’s amazing Sweet Petite stall 🙂 Come and say hullo to us if you’re passing. We’ll be at the Mummy Tree Markets from 9am to 3pm on Sunday 9th October.

and our wonderful Clickin Chicks 🙂 What a great afternoon, to share the fabulous world of photography with my fellow clickers. We braved the different types of light, DOF (depth of focus), framing and composition, babies in bath tubs (thank you Miss I) and some absolutely stunning seniors with their even more gorgeous Mum. Thank you to our models, to dear old George, Miss B’s Mum and Pa{aka the snake patrol} and of course the girls for bringing a whole host of props and fab things to eat and drink. Thanks again girls……..see you at our next clickin chicks meet up 🙂

Sunshine Coast Family Portrait Photography ~ Generations…….

There’s something very special about meeting a family who have lived in one area for generations. I think it’s because my family are scattered around the world. I grew up in a household where we shifted every 2 years, something to do with my Dad’s job apparently. It gave me the bug for travelling and moving too, although now I’m close to ’40′, I appear to have settled down 🙂 Well, kinda – just a couple more moves, then I’ll be done, I promise.

This family are very close to my heart. Ms B and her wonderful family help me with EVERYTHING; from props and gorgeous, sweet models, to location scouting and helping push through my photography ideas. Ms B’s dad is an incredible man who has a passion for collecting anything historical. Recently I had the pleasure of popping up to the family farm to see what wonderful things I could use as inspiration for sessions. I came back totally inspired…..so watch this space, it is very exciting.

To Ms B and parents – a huge thank you, I am aways grateful for your help………here are a few pics from our afternoon on the farm. There’s another very special blog post to follow this one, but for now………….

Children’s Portrait Photography Sunshine Coast Eumundi ~ An afternoon at ‘George’s’ place.

Location scouting is always fun. I absolutely adore getting in my car, turning the music up full blast and going to hunt out possible locations for sessions. For this location scout, I was with my friend Miss B and her 3 adorable children, as Miss B knows a guy, a few minutes down the road from me who owns the most uh-mazing farm. I sighed as I walked up the driveway as, it is, well simply p.e.r.f.e.c.t. Rustic, funky, gorgeous evening light, horses, cattle, long grasses and gorgeous trees, oh and above all, ‘George’, a beauty-full elderly gentleman, whose family have lived here in Eumundi, for over a century.

This location scout was a little special, as it is for our Clickin Chicks next shooting clinic. Can we do any better? I don’t think so! So next time you see photographs from this very special place, imagine fairy lights and lanterns in trees, fine china, tea, scones and of course adorable children 🙂

Now we couldn’t leave without getting some shots of little Miss A. I hardly ever get pictures of her, so it was wonderful when she offered to be our ‘light tester’.  What a fabulous light tester she is.

I’m presently working on a project until November, so the blog will be a little quiet, but I will keep you updated with our goings on in the Clickin Chicks and of course, other sessions.  Enjoy the beginning of Spring, it certainly is glorious out there 🙂

Much love Annie xxx
